About Us
The Kinder Kompany was founded by Natalie Harms and Marc Jonkers in 2005.
As a professional couple living in Australia, and with roots in Europe (Marc was born in Holland)
we found ourselves travelling extensively, both domestically and overseas.
Once our first child arrived we discovered the joys of travelling with small children,
but also that we could no longer travel light.
Marc quickly developed a particular dislike to our 'portacot' which wasn't portable in weight
nor size and decided there had to be a better way.
We scouted Europe's boutique baby product designers for 2 years until we found Roy van Aalst's
revolutionary designs. We immediately purchased one for our son Luc and loved it so much we ended up
securing the KinderKot distribution rights for Australia & New Zealand.
The KinderKot has been an overwhelming success in Australia and New Zealand and
we have been busy finding other products that we feel the market is lacking and that we
and our children use ourselves.
